The original name of this stone comes from a legend popular in Madagascar. According to it, when dragons died, their remains became ossified and settled to the bottom of the sea and from them Dragon Stones were formed, with an extraordinary mixture of yellow, golden brown and black, with a hint of grey.
This precious stone is most often composed of calcite, aragonite and grey limestone, and is made of marine sediments by volcanic eruptions. However, its uniqueness also means numerous surprises in the composition. We can find specimens containing, among others, hematite, flint, jasper, dolomite and pyrite. Dragon Stone is considered as the perfect stone for the knowledge-hungry people. These genuine, medium-sized African tumble stones measure approximately 25 to 45mm, making them an enchanting addition to your desk, meditation space, or daily pocket routine.
